How to Apply: British School of Boston, a Boston Area Private International School

We are delighted that you are considering the British School of Boston for your child.  Please see the steps below to apply.  If you need assistance, please contact the admissions office.

Step 1: Application

To begin the application process, please send in the following:

1. Completed application for admission
2. $150 non-refundable application fee (pay now)
3. School transcripts for current and prior year
4. Teacher evaluation forms
   • For applicants to Nursery-Year 2 (Preschool-1st Grade)
   • For applicants to Year 3-Year 6 (2nd Grade-5th Grade)
   • For applicants to Year 7-Year 13 (6th Grade-12th Grade): English, Math, and Administrator

Step 2: Assessment Visit

After the application has been received, we invite each prospective student to meet with members of the school faculty for an assessment visit.  If you are relocating from abroad and unable to visit the school, we are happy to make other arrangements.

Step 3: Enrollment

For families who have completed the above application process by February 1, notification of admissions decisions will be mailed on March 10. A family whose child has been offered a place will be given an Enrollment Agreement to complete. This form must be returned to the Admissions Office by April 10, along with the $1000 tuition deposit, to reserve a place for the child.
