Miss Therese Andrews

Therese achieved a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Nottingham and a PGCE from the University of Wales, Swansea. Before moving to Boston she taught in schools in Thailand, South Wales and London.

She originally came to the British School of Boston as Head of Geography and really enjoyed establishing a rigorous curriculum that celebrated a successful first set of IGCSE results, as well as earning a Secondary Geography Quality Mark from the Geographical Association in the United Kingdom. Recently the curriculum has expanded to include the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

During her time at BSB, Therese has felt lucky to travel with the students to enhance their learning in places such as New York City, New Hampshire, Maine, Cape Cod and Buenos Aires. She is also the swim team coach and has started a Model UN club.

Therese's newest role is as Head of Middle School, where she is working to enhance learning in Years 5 to 9.
